Blog 5

This module helped me re-think my assessments. We've decided to let students score themselves and how they think they preformed throughout the project. Then, using the same rubric they did, we will conference with them and complete the final rubric.

I personally find this helpful during my own observations with admin. Hopefully this will allow them to take more ownership in their work.

    We created a website that has blank templates as well as student examples for students to view and know exactly what is expected.

  2. Of everything you learned, what do you think will have the biggest impact on student learning?


    I think that the assessment piece is the biggest thing that will have an impact not only on student learning in my class, but also my teaching. I think that clear expectations and assessments that are produced and expressed to students ahead of time and in a consistant format will give a huge positive impact.
